The MAD Race!

So yesterday (Saturday),

was supposed to join my youths for brunch but i didnt because i totally forgotten about this MAD Race lol.

So my classmates, 5 of them + myself, signed up for this competition called The MAD Race(inspired by the tv show - The Amazing Race).

This competition is organized by the committee members of this youth from Metro Tabernacle A/G church.

Btw, they dont call their youth Youth, they call it Campus(Campus Action Ministry).

I got up at 6am =_= went to my friend's house in Sunway at 6.30am, then left to my another friend's house in Kepong at 7.15am, then we all went in 1 car together-gether to the church!

The church is located near Batu Caves, so far O_O

Their church is SUPER HUGE i tell you O_O like some office building, like a fortress LOL!

This is their new church & it costs RM40m!

You must be thinking "Wahhhh where do they get so much money?" "Wahhh why so rich 1?"..

Trust me, with God, all things are possible! :)

Their old church was the church that got bombed/burnt earlier this year!

Thank God for their new church!

Their church is b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l!

Ok anyway,

my team was the first few teams who got there first.

Got to meet their pastor, really friendly female pastor :)

& this is their foyer..so so much bigger than my Uni's foyer =_=

They even have escalators & lifts o_o

Plus they have so many halls o_o didnt take many pictures of the place though.

So the games started at 9.30am & ended at around 12pm.

We played "musical chairs"(oh, there was no music at all, just sirens lol), paper signing game & some sub games(amazing race concept).

We were also given "tokens" to exchange with other group members, to buy their help/votes/time.

Im not gona explain to you how the game works, but trust me, it involves a lot of betraying & lying lol. 

In short, ITS VERY COMPLICATED! ;)

But the lessons that they want to teach us from these games are in the future, when we're in the corporate world, we'll be meeting people of all sorts, we'll be facing a lot of challenges & obstacles, its not gona be easy ;)

They wanted us to have a "taste" of it through these games.

Overall, it was really fun, very well planned i'd say!

After that,

we had a half an hour lunch break, lunch was provided.

After lunch,

we had a short sharing session.

Their Campus consists of many different ppl eh, really different from my Youth now.

You see guys with really long emo-ish hair, guys with piercings, gothic girls & many more.

But anyhow, they are people who are really passionate for Christ & they are really nice people!

Their sharings were really good too, so touching x') haha.

Would love to visit them again but the only problem is its SO FAR x_x

After all the sharings, it was time to announce the results!

They even have prizes for teams who complete the sub games in the shortest time.

My team won the maths sub game =P

Got keychains for that!
& now for the overall champion of the competition..

Seriously unexpected i tell you!
My team members & i stunned for awhile when they announced "Team 3"..LOL!

It was super super unexpected because we gave up in the "musical chairs" game & thought we've lost a lot of points lol!

But i guess the paper signing game helped us a lot =D

So each of us got 100bucks as our prize =D

*yes i know i look tired, woke up at 6am ok LOL but its all worth it!*

Ok so that was the good news rite,

now lemme tell you how im gona spend my 100bucks.

I just got my phone bill the day before.

Total amount due = RM153.20

RM100(from the competition) + RM53.20(own money)...

So in the end,

im poorer than before =_= hahahahaha!
